Random Tid Bits...

Dak-galbi (I doubt I am spelling it right), anyways...my new thing. So I've always loved Korean BBQ, I just didnt know there were so many types of meats and galbis you could order. I ended up meeting up with some of the people from my orientation on the Thursday evening (President's Day Holiday in South Korea). We went to Bupyeong (a popular area for foreigners and shopping - great place!). We ate at an amazing Galbi spot...cant tell you the name, but it was amazing)...

Bupyeong...

Bupyeong is a popular place for foreigners to hang out. There is lots of shopping and restaurants. Definitely somewhere that I will be frequenting. Me and some peeps from the orientation had Korean BBQ...GALBI...sooooo GOOD!

Koreans always give you tons
of side dishes...a lot of it is cold and pickled...
I get by...

Korean SWAG

I'm starting an album that focuses on things that you will only see in Korea (and some other fun things). The pics are pretty self-explanatory, but feel free to ask questions or simply scrath your head. Most of these are taken in downtown Incheon. More to come...

Koreans have wicked Kid clothing!!! Savannah and
Sean will be styling!

Paris Baguette is a great bakery franchise in Korea. Really good
and super cheap!

Everyone is pretty colourful here...colourful
--not coordinated

mmmmmm

Even the food places don't match...

The picture menus help a lot...
Help me to decide where NOT to eat!

Koreans think they know about fried chicken...

It is common in Korea to see men holding hands with other men and women with women...very touchy feely. It is frowned upon to see PDA with men and women however...All the secure men, please stand up!

The men in Korea are very androgynous
This guy is a Korean stud muffin

It is very common to see tanks outside of shops...window shop for your dinner...

Koreans tend to Korean-ize everything...I am not sure about pancakes...but I know I've seen pizza with brussel sprouts!

Korea is a shopping heaven...for small body and small foot gyal...Over a size 8...keep it movin...bigger than a B cup... don't even bother...

Just for laughs, I asked them for my foundation colour...the reaction was priceless. Koreans like very white skin...that's why you see them with the umbrellas in the summer. Porcelain skin is ideal. You actually have to be careful buying skin products that are Korean because a lot of them come with bleaching agents.

Everyone loves Oreos...Or  QZIIQ?

A day in Itaewon...

My friend Ale and I wanted to go to Seoul. We were told that Itaewon was the spot for foreigners...this was very true. After a week of being in Incheon and playing charades to communicate, I had reverse culture shock. I met tons of ppl (even black) from the military. They advised me of the club scene...Club Naked...or Nekid as they say. They gave me the ins and outs, do's and don'ts. It was a good time...

Breakfast of Champions

Subway into Seoul

Chai Latte? I think so...

In closing...

I want to apologize for not updating the blog on a reg. I still don't have internet in my apartment and have been so busy soaking up Korea that I have not had a chance. My internet should be up and running within a week or two...bare with me people! I miss you all and want visitors! Start saving your pennies and selling your bodies...I wanna see someone soon! Flights ain't cheap from what Im hearing.
